John’s presentation work really does encompass a huge range of events.
In the music world he’s introduced the likes of Go West, ABC, and Paul Young at outdoor festivals, to conducting intimate pre-concert conversations for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on stage with guitarists John Williams and Milos Karadaglic, to pianists Alexandra Dariescu and John Lill. For many years he’s been an integral part of the Malcolm Arnold Festival hosting and performing in concerts, as well as delivering lectures on the composer’s work. For three years he hosted Northampton’s equivalent of Strictly Come Dancing at the Derngate theatre.
In sport John’s presented at the NEC for the Ford World Rally Championship team as well as being the matchday guest announcer for the Northampton Saints premiership rugby club. He also fronted a series of exciting promotional displays by the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance in front of live audiences of in excess of 10,000. He twice hosted the American Bowl pre-match party at Wembley Stadium with 25,000 fans from across the country converging on his stage. He’s also hosted fashion shows, public meetings and a series of Brexit debates.
John’s hosted awards ceremonies for a variety of clients from charitable foundations and universities to professional societies in his home county as well as working with unitary bodies in Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire. This year he’ll again be hosting the University of Northampton’s Changemaker Awards as well as the Northamptonshire Community Foundation Awards – not to mention a decade of the Northamptonshire Heritage Forum’s Museum Awards.
